With “I’m Alive,” Lyane Hegemann and Marcel DeVan present an exceptional musical collaboration. The track combines the electronic soundscapes of the 1980s and 1990s with modern production elements, blending synthpop, dreamdance and atmospheric dance sounds.

Marcel DeVan has been active as a producer for more than 25 years and is known for his distinctive blend of electronic music styles. Lyane Hegemann, who achieved international success as the voice of E-Rotic and has since established herself as a solo artist in German pop and pop schlager, also returns to her electronic musical roots with “I’m Alive.”

To create a distinctive atmosphere, the production features not only electronic sounds but also real guitars. Combined with the synthesizers and Lyane Hegemann’s unmistakable voice, they create a unique sound that captures the spirit of past decades without feeling like a purely retro production.
