Who knows Ibiza?
Most people probably know the island only as a hotspot for electronic dance music, breathtaking sunsets at Café del Mar or Café Mambo, the nightlife and the many overpriced clubs, bars, and restaurants, or as the meeting place for the global party scene and the jet set.
Of course, there is also plenty of nature to experience, such as “Es Vedrà”, a rocky magical island off the coast of Ibiza. The rocky island used to be accessible to everyone, but due to the large number of visitors and littering, it’s now closed to the public and designated as a nature reserve. Es Vedrà was probably the most famous viewpoint and spot in Ibiza for millions of people even before the rise of modern-day social media influencers. LOL.
It’s said that Es Vedrà is a remnant of the sunken “Atlantis”. I don’t really know, but in any case, the rock has something particularly magical about it. Es Vedrà is more than just a mystical and legendary rock in the sea. Ibiza is a meeting place for people from all over the world, whether rich or poor, young or old.
Ibiza has definitely changed my life.
