Glasi is back with his brand new single “Back To The Start”. The song combines Dance with Pop and Electro elements. Lyrically, it comes across as dreamy and soulful, not least thanks to the singer’s excellent vocals. She has Glasi already supported on his track “Touch The Light” and has also been heard in songs by Avicii.
Speaking of Avicii: “Back To The Start” is based on the style of many songs by the Swedish DJ, remixer and producer, who died far too young. The playful Pluck Arp melodies are an example and there is also a “Wake, wake me up” more often heard in the song. During the drop there is a bit of an electro feeling, which loosens up the track’s character and gives it dynamics.
Another superbly produced song that feels comfortable in any mainstream playlist but also works on the radio or in the club.
With “Back To The Start” the producer from the Stuttgart area once again showed the right feeling and combined a top singer with a great production. Glasi has managed to work out his own style since his debut in 2021, while always remaining varied and innovative. Well over two million streams on Spotify prove him right.
