Bio – Greta Lovisa
Lets me introduce myself – I am Greta Lovisa and I sing.
I have been writing songs and singing them from a young age. My first song written was in German, I was four years old and singing “Mein Traum” – “My Dream”, talking about me being on stage and performing. Let’s say it is not the best song I have written…but it is the first one to have set the tone for my later life. By that time I started playing the violin, followed by the piano a few years later. I have been performing my whole life. In front of my mother and sisters as a child, to festivals in England, always being my happiest when I get to sing for other people.My music is a mixture of Pop and alternative RnB but I try to treat genre fluidly. For example, my song “Disconnect” is a very 2000’s feel-good RnB song, which smooth and catchy vocals, whilst “SHE” is a bad-ass, strong, pop song, with heavy drums. My main qualities as an artist are my way of finding harmonies and layers, in every song, whilst having slight a Swedish accent in some words I pronounce, which has been described as pleasant and different. Whilst I hope that my music strikes a chord with listeners and moves people emotionally, I also hope that my repertoire will include songs that people want to blast in the car, or listen to whilst getting ready for a party while singing along.
