Since the beginning of time, humans have gazed up at the night sky and been fascinated by constellations, comets and many other celestial phenomena. Every culture has had its own interpretation of these things. One particular luminous phenomenon, which can predominantly only be observed at the two polar caps, still radiates a special fascination and mysticism despite scientific explanation. These are the so-called “aurora borealis” or „aurora australis“, messages from our sun that are made visible by our Earth’s magnetic field.

This phenomenon and another gift from heaven were the main inspiration and namesake for the track „Polarlicht“, part of Pavel Kosmonaut’s new EP entitled „Polarstern“. It will be released on March 21, 2025, on the „KLANG DER STERNE“ label and is now available on all major platforms.
