New Promo: Captain Jack

Captain Jack remains one of the world’s most successful Eurodance acts, even more than three decades after its formation. With millions of records sold, numerous Gold and Platinum awards, and performances across the globe, the group continues to entertain generations of fans to this day.

With “Get Up”, Captain Jack presents a fresh new interpretation of one of the most beloved songs in the band’s history. A special highlight back in 1999 was the joint performance with the Gipsy
Kings on Germany’s legendary TV show “Wetten, dass..?”, staged in the famous bullring of Mallorca.

The melody of the song is based on the Brazilian classic “A Banda”, composed in 1966. The tune became a worldwide evergreen and gained popularity in Germany through France Gall’s hit version “Zwei Apfelsinen im Haar” (“Two Oranges in Her Hair”). In 1999, Captain Jack reintroduced the melody to the Eurodance generation with “Get Up”, reaching the German Top 30 Singles Chart. With the brand-new “Get Up” Remix, Captain Jack delivers the perfect soundtrack for the summer.
